World star Rain has expressed his ambition for the new year.
Rain recently appeared in OBS Gyeongin TV’s special interview program and expressed his ambition of sweeping the American Billboard and Box Office for the first time as a Korean.
Rain continued that it was his “hope news for the year 2009” and added “along with first place in Billboard, he hopes that his first movie ‘Ninja Assassin’ will top the Box Office.” Furthermore, he added that “to be more ambitious, he wishes to succeed as a designer also.” Regarding the new about Rain co working with American artists, he said that “now is not the stage to talk about it” but that he will “talk about it when plans become specific.”
Rain also talked about his sexy charms. He said that his “secret to sexiness is strong confidence” and that “too much confidence can be seen as conceit so the level has to be controlled.” He continued that “covering the body’s weakness won’t solve anything. To overcome it, the right level of exposing and covering needs to be done. And through this, anyone can be sexy.”
Rain’s 2009 hope news will be broadcasted on the 31st through OBS Gyeongin TV (‘Kim Gu-Ra’)

Ich gönne ihm den Erfolg in Amerika wirklich vom ganzen Herzen weil er es sich so sehr wünscht aber finde, dass es trotzdem keine gute Idee ist.

Ich habe auch gemischte Gefühle gegenüber seine Ambitionen, in Amerika im Film und Musik Fuss zu fassen. Natürlich wünsche ich ihm viel Glück und Erfolg vom ganzen Herzen, aber weiss nicht, wie es laufen soll. Was ist, wenn es nicht so läuft, wie er es möchte? Oder anders herum: was ist, wenn alles klappt, was dann? Was für Ziele wird er dann haben?
