JITEC Stadium in Jakarta on the 3rd Dec at 8:00pm, was almost swept away by the audience's shout 'Jeong Ji-Hoon'. When Rain appeared on the stage at 8:20pm, all the audience got up from their seats, the voluntarily arranged seat lines scattered in a moment, and the whole concert hall turned into a huge standing room.
Rain ended his 'Legend of Rainism' in Indonesia, one of Asia tour concerts, in great success. In the concert which started from 8:20 pm on 3rd, Dec. at JITEC, Jakarta, Rain made the audience wild with enthusiasm with such World Star’s stage manner, perfect dance and singing.
The concert which has over 6,000 seats was crowded with fans from Indonesia as well as Korea, Japan, Hong Kong and so on and from the beginning of the concert, the fans shouted Rain’s name ‘Jeong Ji-Hoon' and the concert atmosphere became very excited.
Saying ‘apa kabar’ which is ‘hello’ in Indonesian, Rain started his opening stage with "My way" and continued singing his hit songs such as ‘How to avoid the Sun’ with fabulous dances and the audience repeated his songs with hearty cheers.
Reaching the climax of the concert, water sprayed from the special device installed over the stage and Rain showed his upper body while tearing his shirts and the crowd turned into a fever pitch.
Over 2 hours, he sang about 20 songs and ended his concert with ‘Rainism.’ His performance was held in Indonesia which held barely Korean singer’s concerts because it had rarely affected by Korean wave comparing to East Asia such as China or Hong Kong which was swept by it.
In addition, the ticket price was decided as almost equally expensive like American top stars’ ticket prices so many people was worried about that. However he succeeded to gathering the audience and showed the possibility that enables to open Korean singer’s commercial performance.
In this concert, the most expensive VIP ticket price was 3million rupiah (around $313) and each platinum and gold ticket was sold at 2million rupiah (around $210) and 1.5million rupiah (around $156).
The average wage of a local university-graduated employ is 2million rupiah. Given the point that the concert profits of foreign stars or local musicians are affected by sponsors’ supports rather than its admission fee, Rain’s successful concert means a lot.
Meanwhile, even after the concert including the encore for two and a half hours was finished, the audience could not left their seats instantly, shouting 'Jeong Ji-Hoon', and more than 500 of his fans were waiting for him in the parking lot and were reluctant to leave him, not leaving the area until late.
Rain who left for Washington DC last November 11th completed his concert in Hong Kong and in Jakarta and is heading for Japan on the 4th to celebrate his Japan official homepage opening. He is expected to return home on Flight KE 704, on 7th, Dec. at 4:30pm, in more than one month.

Die Halle war auf jeden Fall kleiner als in HK und es gab auch nicht diese T-Form, was schade ist, weil Rain sehr gerne inmitten der Fans ist.

Ich frage mich echt, wie manche Fans ticken (und sich auch noch als Fans bezeichnen). Manche haben doch wirklich den Nerv, Rain als "fett" zu bezeichnen. Was mich hier stört ist: 1. er ist nicht fett, sondern genau richtig und 2. auch wenn er "fett" sein sollte, so kann man das auch anders (bisschen respektvoller) ausdrücken wie "er hat zugenommen".

Also fett ist defintiv was anderes. Nun gut, natürlich hat er zugenommen und sieht nicht mehr so aus wie ende letzten Jahres aber das ist nicht fett.
Es passt ja eh nie. Es gibt immer Leute die sich berschweren das er zu dünn ist und nun das er zu fett ist. Einer meckert immer. Das wichtigste ist, daß er sich wohlfühlt. Egal wieviel Kilo er auf den Rippen hat. Ausserdem sollten die Leute erst mal in den Spiegel schauen und dann andere Kritisieren. Wer nicht will der hat schon. Ich nehme ihn!

Er ist kein 17jähriges Boygroup Member das sich noch auswachsen muss.

Rain is in the forecast today for Indonesia as the “Legend of Rainism” tour presented by the top Korean singer sweeps into the Jakarta International Event & Convention Centre.
The world tour is Rain’s third following “Rainy Day” (2005-06) and “Rain’s Coming” (2006-07).
It began on Aug. 28 in Japan and continued with performances in Korea in October and in Hong Kong in November.
The Hong Kong show attracted over 10,000 people, including top Asian actors Chow Yun-fat and Jackie Chan. It was held at the Asia-World Expo, the largest exhibition venue in Hong Kong.
As an indication of Rain’s popularity in Jakarta, the cheapest tickets sold for 750,000 rupiahs ($80) which is about $15 below the average monthly salary in Indonesia, the same price as tickets for recent concerts in that country by international pop stars Beyonce and Linkin Park.
Rain’s next destination after Indonesia will be the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on Dec. 24 and 25.

Ich finde es wirklich klasse, dass Rain in Jakarta aufgetreten ist, trotz der "Sicherheitsfrage", weshalb viele Stars dort Konzerte etc. abgesagt haben.
Danke Mädels für eure unterstützenden Worte! Bin ich froh, dass ich hier in einem Forum bin, wo wir respektvoll gegenüber Rain sind und nicht wie manche Leute, die sich dann als Fans bezeichnen, ihn so beleidigen.
@Justice: ja, es gibt immer Leute, die etwas zum Nörgeln haben. Ich bin mir auch sicher, dass es dann die sind, die mit sich selber nicht zufrieden sind und das an andere rauslassen.

The action flick, helmed by James McTeigue of “V for Vendetta” and produced by Joel Silver and the famous Wachowski Brothers of the “Matrix” trilogy, opened worldwide on November 26.

I smiled. Yes, I know. Jakarta: Rain, that’s why I’m going there.
When we landed and applied for our visa, the immigration officer saw my friend’s passport cover, and told us: “Rain! He’s here!”
We smiled. Yes, we know, that’s why we were here!
Then we checked into our hotel. My friend did not have any booking. The hotel was overbooked. OK, it’s time to pull some strings, especially the strings of one of the world’s most influential people, and deadliest and sexiest Ninja Assassin. So I chatted to the staff. “We come all the way just for Rain’s concert. He’s the best…. You have to help my friend….” Bingo, it worked. I love the Jakarta people, they are friendly and nice, especially when they all know and love our prince!
The Indonesian clouds have made a special tee for the occasion. I met new and old friends. We were all ready to cheer for our prince.
I did not realize that glow sticks were not readily available in Jakarta (otherwise I would have brought as many as I could). I know the ticket price is quite expensive and as a result many clouds and devoted fans have to sit at the back. But none of these affected our excitement as our prince showed up on the stage!
I love our prince when he said hello to us in Indonesian local language, it really shows that he cares about his fans. I won’t describe in detail our prince’s performance – it’s great and entertaining as ever. He really wants to give us a big party, therefore he asked us “stand up”. He asked us “Why are you so serious”. He even pointed to someone and said “Don’t sit down. Don’t sit down”! We the obedient and loyal clouds of course stood up all night anyway, and loud cheers and screams echoed the hall.
The highlight for myself is the encore part. Many fans abandoned their seats and tried to move forward to be close to our prince. When he was singing “With You”, me and my friends managed to move to the first row, singing and dancing with our prince as if we were his chorous. And then it’s “Fresh Woman”, and he pointed towards us and sing “you, you, you, you”!!!! And I pointed at him at the same time and sing “you, you, you, you” too!!! It was electrifying, it was so fun and so wonderful!
And to end the party, our prince got down the stage and did a round of shake hands. All fans went crazy and it was a happy chaotic moment for those lucky enough to touch his hand. He then went up the stage again, took up a few towels and started to throw these to his fans. Again this sent everyone screaming and shouting trying to catch the towels. I don’t want the towels. I want to catch HIM!!
Then it’s time for this party to end and another one to start somewhere else…..
I stayed less than 24 hours in Jakarta, slept less than 2 hours but I was all smiles, all emotions at the end of my trip!
