it about 8 peoples in my tables i reserved VIP TABLES at the 3 floor with Army Cheng we all to garting together and went inside for the VIP and we all make and went inside the clubs it were very alot of peoples i got their about 1or 11/2 i found out that rain is going to show up around 11 or so so i went to the next door for all his fans can ssee hin man dran their so many peoples i were up closed to the poster borad of ninja assassin but the sucerity told us to pull back up so thatt way us don”t be near rain close to rain it was so bad in therir everybody included guy are also love rain and come for to see him also i was shock and impress when i see all these come together. anway yes rain did show up he were wearing lumaray hat and black oufit he come and wlak back and forth left and righ and put his hand up as he alway normal do when they took his pict rain got took pick by many fans espcail on the very frist roll they got all the way good camera i could not took his pict they keep push us back and froth it so hot inside to many crowed rain only show up for only 5 min he leave back dorr on the elivator every broke apart and i and some other RUSA and felisshi took some pict with rain big boeard of ninja assassin it was good night i drink several liquid and water i dance just one song this is the toward the ending night party it end at 2am i have good time get to talk to new RUSA and know them am happy with this.

I’ve debated about writing this since returning from LA because this experience was less than spectacular, compared to what I had gone through the night before this when I met Rain. Over and over again I’ve reminded myself not to be greedy because getting to see Rain up close is considered more of a privillege more than anything else. So regardless of what had happened, I’m still thankful. Anyway, I let you be the judge yourself.
My friends and I were pumped about Friday night. We had stayed up late the night before talking about what had happened at Yamashiro with Rain, slept in for a little the next morning (although not much really) and went over to Coffee Bean down the street from the hotel to have something to eat and drink. Also met up briefly with the wife of my producer friend, Jolie. Hadn’t seen her in 10 years, so this was a real treat for me. Of course she wanted to find out all that happened the night before too! It was absolutely awesome to visit with her again. For the rest of the afternoon, Christina, Jay, Jeslyn and I hung out together at Century City Shopping Center and Koreatown. Our event at Kress wasn’t until later that night, so we had plenty of time to kill. Lots of shopping, eating and picture-taking!!!
Anyway, that night we headed over to the Kress around 9:30pm. The line was already long when we got there, but we skipped all that because we had VIP access and we had a promoter to escort us in. From the very get-go, everything was a mess. Each group was supposed to be assigned to a promoter and a VIP table (for the kind of package and money we had paid for). In the beginning, it was hard to organize everyone, much less find the people we needed to find. Then when we finally got around to going upstairs (The Kress has 2 floors and a rooftop), there was even more confusion as to who was supposed to be at what table etc. It was incredibly frustrating.
At this point too I was getting anxious because I was just eager to get into the club and settle in before Rain was scheduled to arrive. I had worn the same pair of heels from the night before, and my feet were starting to protest in unbearable pain! (definitely not a high-heels kind of gal, if you can’t tell already) Pretty soon the announcer yelled out to the crowd that Rain was ‘in da house’ and that he would make an appearance real soon plus take pictures and sign autographs. So everyone made their way to the backroom where the lift was (where Rain was going to come out from). There were barricades set up, but it wasn’t enough to contain the massive crowd. The announcer had to yell out again, telling everyone to take 2 steps back to clear out the front part of the room, otherwise Rain wasn’t going to make an appearance. I honestly didn’t think that was possible because the space wasn’t that big to begin with. It was obvious that the room was holding wwaaaayyy more people that its actual capacity. Somehow I got pushed further and further to the back at the side of the barricade (being short totally wasn’t helping my cause). I had gone with some friends, but I lost most of them in the process due to the constant pushing from the rest of the crowd. I had never really feared for my life before until that point. O_O
Pretty soon Rain appeared. People started to push forward. I was too busy locking arms with another stranger next to me for fear that we’d both get pushed down with the barricade and get trampled on. We hung on to each other, and the poor girl kept apologizing that it wasn’t her who was pushing me. In the mean time, Rain stood up front for a short photo session. Camera flashes went off, hands and arms were up high holding up cameras. I was still clinging on to my new-found friend; hoping and praying that we wouldn’t topple over. I kept thinking in my head: this is NOT worth my life.
Pretty soon, Rain made his way towards the lift again. Security noticed how chaotic it had gotten and the potential of things turning for the worse, so they ushered him away. So much for the photo and autograph session too, that never happened. If I was Rain myself, I wouldn’t have done it either, for fear of my own safety and the safety of others. I was able to catch a quick glimpse of him while he waited to get into the lift. He had sunglasses with a beret on his head, dressed casually but yet still looking dashing as always. He kept looking down; I think the crowd scared him somewhat. He left to go up to the rooftop almost as quickly as he made his appearance. I was still dumbstruck over the chaos.
When he left, Christina’s promoter came over to her (she was still next to me) and started handing out some orange wristbands. But then people around us started snatching the bands away from him, not even knowing what the bands were for but they wanted them anyway. I wasn’t quick enough to grab one. Came to find out later that those wristbands were supposed to be handed to our table upon arrival because it was part of the package we had paid for, i.e. VIP access to the rooftop to see Rain!! But when Jay tried to contact our promoter, she said Rain’s management had informed them not to hand out anymore wristbands, so she couldn’t give any to us. We were supposed to be given right in the beginning when we first seated at our table because we PAID for it!!! Needless to say, I was more than furious. I’m sure my other friends were too, but nobody really said anything. What’s worse was we had no luck getting hold of our promoter for the rest of the night, who seemed to have mysteriously disappeared for the rest of the night. Had a few choice words for her and her unprofessionalism, but I’ve since moved on.
A few of us did manage to go up to the rooftop to see Rain for a little bit. He stayed for about an hour. The girls said that he had his own private cabana with bodyguards surrounding it but was still having a good time dancing, drinking and being his goofy self.

After Rain left, we stayed on at the Kress. Despite the frustration and disappointment that most of us felt, we made it a point to enjoy whatever time we had left there. There was still plenty of booze and music blaring non-stop. I eventually took off my heels and just danced barefoot on the floor! Seriously didn’t care anymore…but we ended the night well and everyone still have a great time being with each other. Also snapped up a few Ninja Assassin posters for myself and friends!
