Place is Century 20 Great Mall, Milpitas, CA.
We will be meeting in front of Theater at 1:00pm.

It would be kinda embarrasing for Rain if there aren't wholatta fans there.
If you are attending, please reply to this topic or send me a e-mail.
I need to figure out how many ppl would be.

Hi, Rain-USA biers.
Last time we asked our members and Rain fans to participate in making of Rain's documentary in SF.
But, unfortunately it was such low turn out and it was kinda embarrassing.
This time, MBC is interviewing Joel Silver and other Hollywood personnel in LA.
And while they are in LA, they would like to film Rain fans gathering (about 10 or more)
They will be around LA area from 7/11 to 7/15 and would like to film fans and interview.
They preferred 7/13, Sunday but they will accommodate if it is available.
Also, MBC would like to visit one of fan's house to see Rain's stuff and interview (it would be like the fan note you read about German fan)
Let me know how many can make it on Sunday and we will go from there.
Please make sure to show up if you reply. Also, One fan who would like to show your Rain stuff in your house, please reply.
Thanks and sorry for the short notice again.
I just got e-mail from them.
Jay-rain-usa
-----------------------------------
Both Saturday and Sunday(7/12 & 7/13) would be fine with MBC ppl.
This will be filmed with crews from Korea.
What they can do is they can film fan gathering in restaurant of somebody's house, I guess.
You will bring your Rain gears and stuffs.
They will films Rain fans having gathering talking about Rain and showing off their Rain stuffs.
Also, will interview, forecast of Rain entering US market.
They already tried in SF but it was such sorry turn out. It was actually embarrasing comparing to other countries fans.
Keep it in mind, this is showing our support to Rain in USA.
And... I really incourage you to participate if you are even remotely Rain fans.
Also... If you are member of other USA site or english site where USA fans are, you can post this info there also.
One important thing, since I am not in LA, I need one appointed person who can oversea this.
Any volunteers?! Anyone who wants to help, please leave me name and your phone number at rain-usa@comcast.net.
Thank you.

Place: Rosemead, CA
Date & Time: 7/22 8:00pm
*Jodie's email is jodieng@hotmail.com . Monika, myself and many other LA Biers (I know of one other HK Bier who will be there as well) will be participating in this. The more the merrier for sure!! Hoping that this goes superbly well!!!

| Quote: | [Fan Account] 23 July - 25 July 2008 - MBC Interview, LAX Greeting, Comic-Con, or Farewell at LAX
Hi Everyone!
Where do I begin? MBC Interview, LAX Greeting, Comic-Con, or Farewell at LAX
MBC Interview
First,I want to thank Jodie for setting up everything for the MBC Interview.I met new Rain fans: Judy, Christina, Carrie, and Debbie. We allgreeted each other with warm hugs and shared our experiences aboutRain. The MBC crew moved us into the eating area where we sang Rain abelated Happy Birthday song. Kay bought an ice-cream cake from BaskinRobbins with Rain's picture of his 4th album. After we wished him abelated birthday, it was time to cut the cake. There was many of us whodid not want to cut the cake, or should I say cut him. Debbie tookcharge and started to cut the cake. Monika got his head, which sheshared with me. I was extremely happy. Jodie got part of his wing andthe other girls got his abs. After we ate the cake and food, we movedto the living room.
We watched Rain's 24 Hour Dvd. The MBCcrew bought us souvenirs: wallets, pens, refrigerator magnets, and etc.As soon as the souvenirs hit the coffee table, we all started to grabwhich items we wanted. I'll let you guys imagine the scene. I think MBCthought we were funny. They asked why we liked him, how we wereintroduced to him, if we think he will be successful in the U.S., andetc. You guys can see the footage when it airs in October 2008.Afterwards, they filmed Jodie's room which is filled with Rain items. We thanked MBC and they went home. That ended the night.
-----------------------------------------------------
LAX Greeting
Thenext day we went to LAX to greet Rain. He looked so cute in his red andwhite striped shirt, black skinny jeans, and sandles. I think he wassurprise to see so many people. MBC was also there to film his arrival. We all screamed his name and followed him to his car. He signed manyautographs while walking to the parking lot and shook people's hands. When we got to the car, he turned around and waved to us and said"Thank you." He blew us a kiss and got in the car. MBC filmed ourexcitement, then jumped in the car to interview him. He waved usgood-bye from inside the car. We all hugged each other and made plansfor the next day for Comic-Con.
-----------------------------------------------------
Comic-Con
Like Monika said earlier inher fan account, traffic was horrible. It took me 6 hours. We allfollowed each other with loads of people. Monika and her crew, me andmy crew, and Jodie and her crew. Eventually we all made it there. Assoon as we saw Rain, we forgot about our trying day. Joel Silver cameout and presented a few movies that Dark Castle was working on. As soonas Joel Silver said "Ninja" I started to scream. The cast came out andRain was the last to sit on the panel. The microphone was open forquestions from his fans.
Me and a whole bunch of Rain-USA fansasked him a question each. He was so cute and made jokes with hisanswers with a bunch of screaming in the background. He smiled andlaughed a lot. Joel Silver said a lot of good things about him.BTW...we saw a trailer of Ninja Assassin and wow...he looks so good, but besides his good looks, the story plot is very interesting and thepeople who sat by me who didn't know who he was were very interested inthe movie. I can not wait for the movie to come out in January 2009.
Afterthe cast answered questions, they got up to take pictures from thepress and left. We made a quick dash out the door back to LAX to bidhim farewell. We waited for him at the departure side and he showed uparound 10:15 pm wearing the same outfit at Comic-Con. He looked a bitsurprise to see us, but smiled at us and said "Hi girls." I'm shockedmyself that we we able to make it back on time. He checked in andwalked to the escalators to his gate. We followed him but gave himspace. He turned around and waved to us and said "Thank you." He got onthe escalator and left. We were all so happy to have the chance to seehim again.
I'm pretty much on Cloud 9 right now. That's pretty much my adventure with the girls from RAIN-USA/Sexy-Bi.

| Quote: | 22 July 2008 - MBC TV Interview Account, *with Rain-USA members in California
Monika, Carrie and I drove from her place in Huntington Beach toJodie’s in Rosemead for the MBC interview and Rain-USA gathering.Monika expected the drive to take about 45 minutes, and we weresupposed to meet up with the crew at 7 pm. So we left pretty early tomake sure we had ample time to get there. More than half way along theway, while Monika was switching lanes, she rolled over something thatcaused a loud thump in the back left tire, but neither one of us couldfigure out what it was. The car was still driving fine even after that,so we didn’t even think twice about it—until about 20 minutes laterwhen I heard another funny sound and immediately I thought, oh no, thetire! Sure enough, the tire was completely FLAT and we had to pull overto the side of Highway 5 amidst the rush hour traffic. Long story short, thankfully there was a courtesy truck that pulled upin front us right when we made a phone call to Monika’s AAA Service andhe helped change the spare tire Monika had in the trunk of her car. Ofcourse early the next morning she and I headed to the tire shop beforegoing to LAX to greet Rain so that we could get a brand new tire; shehad just replaced hers 2 weeks ago!! And what they found in the tirewas the head of a screwdriver!! How in the world we could drive over itand totally embed it into the tire is still beyond our imagination tilltoday…
ANYWAY,back to the MBC story. Despite our ‘adventure’, we managed to get toJodie’s house on time. Majority of the girls were already there, and sowas the MBC crew who were busy filming the outside and surroundingneighborhood of Jodie’s house before they came in the house to join is.It was my first time to meet everyone there, as well for a few others,so we spent some time introducing ourselves while Jodie and her momhurriedly tried to get the food table ready while also helping the MBCcrew people get settled with their equipments and stuff. They wanted tofilm us at the dining table with all the food and of course thehighlight—an ice cream birthday cake for Rain with the picture from thecover of his 4th album (the one with wings) on it. It was a GORGEOUScake (for obvious reasons ) and the MBC people filmed us singing a birthday song to Rain andblowing out the candles together. And then when we started eating, weall tried to figure out how to cut the cake. NOBODY wanted to ruin thecake for fear of ‘cutting’ Rain’s body into pieces. So then theystarted cutting the edge of the cake instead. I’m like, WTH, the cakeis meant to be eaten!! So I went right in, took the knife away from Jodie and went in for thekill. The girls then started becoming ‘picky’ by giving me theirpreferences, like, “ooh, I want the lower part of his body” or “I wannaeat his abs”. You can imagine the rest...I was trying my best to cutthe cake properly without completely ruining Rain’s ‘body’ but the cakewas melting fast! Needless to say, you’d have to be there yourself towitness how funny the entire scene was. And of course, MBC had a ballfilming our silly moment!
Aftera sumptuous dinner and Rain’s yummy cake, we adjourned to the livingroom where the MBC crew wanted to film us watching one of Rain’s DVDs.But right before that, the female reporter brought out a bunch of Rainsouvenirs for us from Korea, which consisted of pens, notepads, passport holders, magnets and stuff. You should’ve seen us; the momentshe emptied out the bag of goodies onto the coffee table, we went inlike scavengers! I couldn’t stop laughing at us….Then we startedwatching Rain’s “24 Hour The Day” DVD while the cameraman took footagesof us admiring and drooling over Rain and his cuteness on Jodie’s bigscreen TV. That probably went on for like 15 minutes before the reporter gatheredus around and started asking us a bunch of interview questions. Shestarted off by getting us to introduce ourselves one-by-one by sayingour names and our ethnicities. I can’t remember what all she asked fromthen on, but there were basic questions like how we all came to knowRain, and then to more serious questions like our opinions on Rain’sventure into Hollywood and the US market and whether or not he wouldmake it here in the States. I had the privilege of answering a rather‘exclusive’ question when the reporter asked who among us were married, and Kaye and I were the only ones who raised our hands! We took turnsanswering her questions on how our husbands are coping with our crazefor Rain, and what they think of him in general, i.e. whether they feeljealous or threatened, etc. That was probably the more interestingquestion that I got to answer that night, haha! I hope that part makesit onto the documentary!!
TheQ & A session lasted probably about 45 minutes, and afterwards thecrew just filmed us in random different situations, of course allconsisting instances of us either talking/discussing Rain, or watchinghis DVD, or looking at his pictures. The last thing the crew did wasinterview Jodie personally and filmed her in her room, which in myopinion is like a Rain museum!! Definitely a must-do for any Rain fanwho comes to know Jodie. She has a plethora of Rain stuff all over herroom and her walls are covered with posters of him. It is really anincredible sight!
The camera crew left around 10ish while the rest of us stayed until about10:30 pm. We had such a terrific time together just talking about Rainand getting pumped up for his LAX arrival the next morning. We alsotook some group pictures to commemorate our evening together. By theend of that night, it was evident of how much closer we had connectedto one another; even the MBC crew was slightly more opened andreceptive to us (could tell from their smiles) despite the languagebarrier. The interview was definitely a bonus and we really hope that ourgathering will get some airtime in October, depending on how much theyedit us off! But we are all hoping that Rain will at least get to seethe ‘raw’ footages of our group that night and see how well loved andsupported he truly is by American fans, and how connected we all are asone big family despite our distances and ethnicities. For me, that waswhat made the night so perfect—for once I didn’t feel like I was anidiotic Rain fan, but rather more like a normal person sharing the samepassion with these other girls who shared the same feelings andcraziness as me; all in the name and love of Rain! Truly a night toremember.

Ich hatte das so verstanden, dass beide Interviews am gleichen Ort stattfanden. Das erste mal waren aber irgendwie nicht so recht viele da bzw. haben die das schon vorher abgesagt, weil keiner kommen konnte?
