On the afternoon of the 17th Rain and his family went to a national memory park to give obeisance and sacrificial offerings to his mother. For the sake of his production work and dance choreography for the October release of his special Asian album, Rain made a stop in LA during the mid-autumn festival holidays. Upon returning on the 16th, the first agenda was to give obeisance to his mother's remains; making the surrounding mood to become quite serious.
A friend of Rain's said, "Rain's love for his mother is really outstanding. Whenever Rain has to promote the release of a new album, or faces important performances and such, he will come to give obeisance and offerings at his mother's crematorium. As he faces the activities for the new album and has feelings of anticipation, he has come to offer obeisance and offerings in the mean time to strengthen his awareness."
Rain's mother passed away due to a disease 2 months prior to his debut. In the sorrow of losing his mother, he continued to move on and eventually managed to stand up high in the TOP STAR position. Quite often he has said words such as "my mother is the meaning of my life"; his profound love for his mother has made its own name.
After becoming famous for the first time, Rain has since never forgotten to give credit to his mother for his own honor at any award ceremonies or other important official functions. This year during the new year holidays in February he also gave obeisance and offerings in conjunction with his new movie <Speed Racer>. And now with a tranquil spirit he has come to offer sacrifices to his mother for the October release of his special Asian Album.
A friend said, "To Rain, his mother exists within him like a religion. When he faces a new stage he always hopes to obtain good luck from her and from there gains his determination. Because he felt guilty for not being able to give obeisance and offerings to her during the mid-autumn festival, his first agenda upon returning to the country was to go see her."
Rain will be releasing the special Asian album in the beginning of next month and plans to make appearances on local stage. Next March he will also appear in his very first leading Hollywood role in the movie <Ninja Assassin>.

歌手兼演員RAIN在去世的母親面前决定發奮圖强。
RAIN 17日下午在京畿道벽제的一個紀念公園和家人一起去拜祭母親的遺骨。RAIN 爲了10月將發表的亞洲特別專輯的編舞相關聯的資料，于中秋連休期間在美國LA停留。16日歸國，第一個日程就决定一起去拜祭母親的遺骨，周圍都變得很嚴肅。
RAIN的一位朋友說“對于RAIN母親的愛太了不起了。RAIN每當有新專輯要推出或者面臨公演等重要的事情的時候，都會來拜祭母親的骨灰堂。一邊面臨新專輯的活動和整頓心情，一邊爲了加强覺悟就拜祭了骨灰堂。”
RAIN的母親在RAIN首次亮相2個月以前就因爲疾病離開了世上。RAIN在失去了母親的悲痛中也繼續活動，站上了TOP STAR的位置。RAIN 平時也說了很多次‘母親是我生命的意義’這樣的話，對于母親深刻的愛是出了名的。
