映画『マトリックス』シリーズで知られるウォシャウスキー兄弟最新作『スピード・レーサー』の公開（7月5日）を控え、さらに映画『ニンジャ・アサシン (原題)』の主演も決定した、韓国のシンガー／俳優Rain。そんな勢いに乗る彼が、現在の心境を4月10日発売の雑誌「Weeklyぴあ」で語っている。

　「『スピード・レーサー』撮影現場での過酷な経験が、（ウォシャウスキー兄弟プロデュース作）『ニンジャ・アサシン(原題)』に繋がって嬉しいし自信にもなりました」と、ハリウッドでデビューしたことにより、今後のアメリカでの活動への自信を強めたようだ。また、自らの事務所J-TUNEの経営については「新人育成とファッションブランドの立ち上げが軌道に乗った」と語り、過去、１日だけ別の職業につけるとしたら「大統領」と答えていたことに触れ、「冗談です。いま考えると恥ずかしい発言ですね（笑）。いまは大学のキャンパスを舞台に青臭い恋愛がしたいかな」と余裕の姿を見せている。
