If you love Rain, I suggest you ignore this fan account and just try your best to save and scrape if you have to and make a resolution to go to at least one of his Legend of Rainism concerts! This way you will be full of pleasant surprise. If you really cannot make it then I hope this fan account will not add fire to your desire to go!
Rain stood on the left side of the high stage when the lights dimmed, with his arms stretched out. He wore a silvery jacket with black patterns, black vest and trousers. It’s so funny that as soon as we saw him, every one of us in the arena automatically abandoned our seats and stood up and cheered. (In fact, we all remained standing throughout the show.) He did not move, we cheered again, louder and louder each time. At last the King of the Stage seemed satisfied with our screams, and he started the show with “My Way”.
As early as the second song “Touch Ya”, Rain was already leading us into party mood. He said: “Now shake your body, shake your body”, and the floor shook as we all shook.
Then he went up to the high stage again. My heart missed a beat when I saw him jump down from great height in preparation to sing “It’s Raining”. Here the King transformed himself to MJ and performed “Billie Jean” as a prelude. I don’t need to say anymore, the press, the photo said it all. Rain let us play the chorus too – “Rain, go Rain, it’s Raining, it’s Raining”, the whole concert hall was in motion.
I am not going to recap every song. To me, each one has its special appeal to me, and shed a new light to me about this talented young man. I will just highlight a few.
After “Not a Single Day” and “Familiar Face”, Rain disappeared into back stage to change. (During his change time throughout the show, the chorus, the band and the dancers were introduced and each perform a short piece).
Rain re-appeared with a brownish trench coat, with a gentleman bowler hat to sing “Because of You”. Rain’s body is all “covered”, we couldn’t even see his face hidden under the hat, but he performed the most charming, alluring dance here – elegant to the bone, healthily sexy from within.
The charming gentleman then became your sweetheart boy when he went up stage, sat down with the band and sang “Love Is” and “My Girl”. No dance moves, casual wear, he’s like the boy next door declaring his affection to the girl next door. It’s so warm and cozy. We were all under his spell and charm.
“Nan” was of course another highlight of the evening. Rain tore off his shirt, rain showered over him, he was on his knees, panting, he was in pain and agony. We could all feel his sadness. He did not look up, the shower stopped, the music stopped, he was still in pain. We stopped our breath and watched him. And he suddenly stood up and broke into the cutest, mischievous, lovely smile, as if to say “haha, didn’t I trick you all!” We just couldn’t help screaming and laughing.
And then he pulled down his trousers, we screamed, he pulled down further, we screamed louder, he took off his belt and admired his own body on the big screen! Then he stood against the “curtain” (silver tassels) of the stage and many black gloved hands grabbed various parts of his body from behind the curtain. He then shouted “OK, let’s do it then” and he performed another fantastic dance choreography. His body is so flexible yet so powerful, the dance is masculine yet sexy. Watching this part is like watching Legend of Rain’s Dance.
“11 Days” and “I Like You Again” gave the Broadway Musical feel – Rain looked exceedingly handsome in the royal blue jacket and mustard coloured trousers with another gentleman bowler hat. The chair dance, the props all added to the party atmosphere.
Rain was in his white Rainism outfit when he performed the last 3 songs – “Love Story” followed by “Rainism” (the red magic stick appeared again) and his last song “Friends”. I feel that Rain was particularly emotional in the second night when he sang his last song - or may be it was just me.
Rain was clearly in good moods in both nights for the encore songs. In the first night when he sang “Fresh Woman”, he performed the longest, fastest “hip hip” dance. Imagine a belly dance woman shaking her belly really fast, and Rain is doing the same with his hip! He even got down the stage and took a red wig from the audience and wore it. Rain asked us to jump, to dance, to scream and the whole concert hall went wild. In the second night all of us had an even longer encore dance, because Rain was cheering for all his dancers to perform a solo piece, chanting all the time “go go XXX”. This man has infinite energy – we were all losing our steam but he was still there pulling down his band to go to the stage to dance. He then took bottles of water and splashed on his dancers, disappeared down stage and came out from nowhere again. Of course he got splashed too, as several dancers circled him and took their revenge. It was a wonderful party. The only unfortunate incident was that Rain hurt his knees, and we could see that he was in pain only at the end of the first concert and at the end of the second concert – he just would not let the pain affect his performance.
It was raining heavily outside as we left the concert hall. Rain falls on all of us…

Ich hab permanent das gefühl, alte Bilder von ihm anzuschauen. Kann man sich im Gesicht kaum geändert haben. Und was eine Frisur schon wieder mal alles ausmachen kann. Wahnsinn. Er gefällt mir besser denn je. Die neue Frisur war zwingend nötig und ich hoffe, daß er sie nun ein wenig behält weil sie ihm einfach ausgezeichnet steht. What an adorable man!

It was reported that singer, Rain had injured his left knee while performing during his Legend of Rainism concert tour in Japan last Saturday. He headed for the hospital straight after his return on 31st August and was diagnosed to have sprained his knee muscle. He is now back home resting up after going through some basic physiotherapy.
J.Tune Entertainment said, "We believe that Rain sprained his knee muscle, when he jumped off from a 2nd storey platform onto the main stage, and his left knee buckled under pressure from his uneven landing. Although there were no external injuries, Rain felt immense pain in his knee joints afterwards. So we decided to send Rain to the hospital for a thorough check-up immediately upon his return to Korea. The doctors have advised that Rain should take it easy for the next few days and just take a break."
Rain's sudden appearance at the hospital took everyone by surprise and caused a huge commotion as fans and patients started massing to get a glimpse of him at close proximity. J.Tune Entertainment added, "We will re-adjust his schedule if there's a need to, depending on his health condition. But at the present moment, we don't think that his injury will affect his schedule and fans should not worry too much."
Rain's next schedule is on 5th September, this Saturday at the Incheon Korean Wave Festival 2009. There's a question mark now on whether he's fit enough to perform.

Unglaublich diese Bilder von Rain mit seinen Tänzern. Man denkt, es sei die World Tour von 2007. Und es ist auch schön, ihn wieder so mit seiner Truppe zu sehen.
Ich finde auch, dass dieser Haarschnitt nötig war. Er hatte ja damit kaum etwas gemacht und dass seit Anfang des Jahres. Und für Rain-Verhältnisse ist dies ziemlich laaaaange! Er würde mir jetzt noch eine größere Freude machen, wenn er sie komplett schwarz färben würde.
Hey, Rain fährt doch glatt U-Bahn in Japan hihihihi, irgendwie süß! Und er sieht so casual einfach toll aus. Ich glaube ehrlich, auch wenn er kein Star oder man nicht wüsste, dass er eins ist, ihn so auf der Straße zu sehen, würde auf jeden Fall meine Aufmerksamkeit haben.
