Singers Rain and Lee Sooyoung won The Best Male Singer and The Best FemaleSinger, respectively in the 2007 Mobile Entertainment Awards.

The 2007 Mobile Entertainment Awards held the closing ceremony on 28December 2007. This was the first time that the mobile phone users canpick out the artist of the highest popularity and strength directly.

Inorder to maintain the trustability and minimise the bias in thisvoting, the candidates were evaluated based on the number of hits ofeach single word, which are voted through the mobile phones.

The winner in male category is Rain. Rain and Sun Haoying (pinyin) had afierce competition in the beginning yet Rain is still the final winner.
