Famous artists like Rain, Tang Wei and others had attended the 13th CineAsia Awards. The actor-and-singer, Rain (Jeong Jihoon, 25) won the award "Male Asian Star of The Year"~~!  whereas Tang Wei was the "Female Asian Star of The Year". This award is given to the most active artist of the year, also as an affirmation to their outstanding performance.

During award presentation, Rain voiced his feelings. "The significance behind this award certainly brings me the pressure, but to me this will be an encouragement, and I'll be motivated to work harder."

When being interviewed together with Rain, Tang Wei said, "I'm totally fascinated by Rain's charisma. I've watched his concert before and hope that we will have the chance to cooperate together in future."

Rain:Yes, i m surprise getting this award, it brings me great honout and certainly gives me great encouragement.i will continue to work hard.

MC: What is your impression of Tang Wei (the female award winner)?

Rain: i think she's pretty, she's an actress who can represent Asia, anticipative of her future works..

MC: Have u watched her movie "Lust, Caution"?

Rain: Yes,it left me deep impression, she was shot beautifully in the movie. also, Tony Leung is v stylish & superb actor. I admired the cast & like the movie. It is a good, well produced movie.

MC: Someone asked if Rain will be able to appear nude like Tony Leung in this movie,But translator translated the question wrongly to Rain, asked if Rain wish to act opposite Tong Leung as with Tang Wei?

Rain: Because I m a guy, its hard to say what role i can fit in. But if there's a suitable role for me, i will accept it..

MC: Next year, what are your plans & new moves?

Rain: In 2008, there will be a new movie released called "Speed Racer". Also, i plan to released a new album.

MC: There has been news that you are working with Hollywood directors, Is it true?

Rain:Yes, there are some work undergoing, i will continue to work hard. also, i will continue my work in Asia eg.China & HK. I wish that everybody will continue to support me.

MC: Now, u are a boss of a company, what are your future plans/projects? i will continue to work hard and because i have received everybody's support, i feel v fortunate and gives me strength to move on.

MC: We noticed u changed a new hairstyle.. why a new change?

Rain: This hairstyle is because of my new movie, there's no other special reason.

MC: Do u like your new hairstyle?

Rain:Yes, i like. also i like to change new hairstyles that gives me a different look.

Inside news from staff (not sure staff of where, think it's the hotel)

The staff said that there was a dinner at the ballroom tonight. Bi ate a lot of food, very big appetite.

Bi's English was spoken very well, conversing in English with the staff people around him, and also had a conversation with a Caucasian guy from the conference.

(skipping this next line, because of the Cantonese slang I'm not sure what she's trying to say, but something about Bi borrowing some paper goods from somebody... )

Lastly 'they' said, "Rain is so smart and polite, really very polite, and more polite than the male star who come from Taiwan in October they served before".

Top star singer Rain (Jung Ji-hoon) has accepted an official invitation from CineAsia International Film Festival and will visit Macau. CineAsia International Film Festival is sponsored by worldwide media group Nielsen Business Media and will be held on the 4th in Macau. South Korean and Japanese film and television will share the platform, which includes discussions on Korean and Japanese dramas, film and television materials, news of star trends and most recent popular information. On the 4th Rain's respective company J.Tune pointed out that he had received an invitation from CineAsia sponsor's Nielsen while he was in Los Angeles.Nielsen, who has distribution power in the US through special music magazine Billboard and special movie magazine The Hollywood Reporter, also has a special operations research company called Nielsen Media Research. Every year they hold ShoWest, ShowEast, Cinema Expo International and CineAsia, among 4 other movie events, but CineAsia is the only film festival to be held in Asia. CineAsia International Film Festival will be held at Macau's Wynn Macau Hotel from the 4th through the 6th. Rain is expected to participate in the activities that are held on the last day of the 6th.

CineAsia will present Rain with "Asian Male Star of the Year" award

On December 6th, 2007 the last night of CineAsia's conference being held at the Macau Tower Hotel in Macau, they will have a banquet and make the following presentations:
